Every year, the JISC Regional Support Centre for Yorkshire & Humber hosts a main e-Learning Conference for senior management and practitioners from supported learning providers in the region.
The day focuses on innovation in strategy and practice in teaching and learning and is filled with speakers, workshops, 'hands on' sessions, and an exhibition.
This year, the conference takes place on Tuesday 2nd June 2009 at York Racecourse.
How can we advance teaching, learning and skills development by effectively examining, experimenting, evaluating and integrating new technologies?
The conference will support delegates in finding practical solutions, at all levels, through showcasing different approaches to learning using technology. These approaches will demonstrate how a ‘joined up’ approach has achieved a measurable impact on learners’ engagement, retention and achievement.
Target audienceThis conference is aimed at senior and middle managers and practitioners in the FE & Skills (FE, Sixth Form and Specialist Colleges, Adult and Community, Work Based and Offender Learning) and HE Sectors.

NetworkingNetworking opportunities are an important part of this event. As well as time on the day, the JISC RSC YH social network - My RSC YH Space - will host a range of discussions both before and after the day.
